Student Volunteer Program

Jesus came to serve, not be served.

His followers should do the same. Through our Student Volunteer Program, Institute students learn how to offer excellent, dignifying service to those in need. Partnered with experts in the field, students gain examples and constructive feedback. Volunteer hours increase as students progress through our program. By the completion of their senior year, students complete close to 1,000 hours of service.

Agriculture

Hopewell Farms trains students for long-term development work in impoverished nations. In the mean time, they feed Nashville organic produce. Students learn concepts like sustainability, duplicability, and appropriate technology.

After-School Program

At CASE, students offer after-school programing for at-risk middle schoolers. Our students work as tutors, activity facilitators, and mentors. An essential skill for anyone following the Lord who welcomed children!

Widow & Elderly Care

G.O.D. International's Widow and Elderly Care program serves elderly neighbors in need. Students deliver meals, do housework and visit with a demographic often left out.

Primary & Secondary Education

You might find Institute students leading worship, manning the cross walk, or aiding a teacher in the classroom. The Academy for G.O.D. is a K-12 school where many Institute students gain a practical framework for an occupation in education.

Infant & Maternal Health

Students offer childbirth education and advocacy for moms who need it. In Nashville, that often includes teen mothers and immigrant and refugee populations. Students who focus in Maternal Health are eligible to serve in this life-saving role.

"Love the alien as yourself, for you were once an alien in the land of Egypt." Students serve Burmese, Hispanic and Congolese populations through English Language Learning, Drivers Education and Bible Studies.
