Announcing the 2023 GOD Summer Internship: An Opportunity for Growth and Service

Nashville, TN – November 10

We're excited to share the 21st GOD Summer Internship, scheduled from June 12 to July 19, 2023. This program is ideal for young individuals focused on their faith and eager to engage in service.

Interns get to spend many hours in prayer and worship together during Boot Camp in preparation for their time abroad.

Nashville Boot Camp: Service Preparation

The GOD Summer Internship starts with a week-long Boot Camp in Nashville. This phase focuses on spiritual growth, leadership development, and preparation for service opportunities. The training provides practical skills for effective ministry and community involvement, fostering leadership and adaptability.

Youth Engagement with SLAM in Nashville

In collaboration with Students Living A Mission (SLAM), interns will lead a youth ministry program. They will be responsible for planning and facilitating activities that support teenagers' spiritual and personal growth. This role enhances the interns’ skills in mentorship and communication, valuable in various future endeavors.

Service in Morristown, TN

Continuing in Morristown, Tennessee, the program involves interns in a Hispanic immigrant community. They will take part in projects and educational programs, learning about and addressing the unique needs of this community. This experience builds cultural understanding and empathy.

Mission in East Africa

An important component of the internship is the mission trip to East Africa. Interns will work in education, healthcare, and community development, gaining an understanding of global challenges. This segment provides a practical look at sustainable development practices and international collaboration.

Exclusive Opportunity for 24 Participants

In its 21st year, the internship is open to only 24 participants, aged 17-27, who are committed to exploring their faith and impacting the world. Each participant will benefit from tailored mentorship, ensuring a comprehensive experience.

Early Registration Pricing

Register before December 31st to join the program for $5950. After this date, the fee will be $6450, plus deposits. This early registration offer is an opportunity to invest in personal growth and skill development.
